About this Event
Unsure of what help is available for LGBTQ+ Students?
As your LGBTQ+ representatives, we understand that for many people, university is the first time they become freer about their sexuality and/or gender identity. It can also signal, for some students, their first time being able to open up about it and experience relationships or express themselves openly. So this information session will guide you through the various support available for you and on the fun side, where you can go to experience LGBTQ+ life in London.
What will we discuss?
Standard support services
at UCL
Specialised LGBTQ+ support
at UCL
Charities
which support LGBTQ+ people who have religious beliefs, are experiencing hardship, mental health issues, and/or are looking to transition to their preferred gender identity
Sexual health
: contraception, clinics, and STI prevention
Meeting
community:
charities, social spaces, nightlife
There will also be a short Q&A session, if you have any burning questions and feel free to ask questions whilst we are discussing support. We are here to help. And if you don't want to ask a question during the session or think of a question later you can receive support by emailing
[email protected]
or

or messaging us through our Instagram @ucllgbtq.
