Congratulations! You made it to this side of the pond (if you weren't already here)! In any case, come join your fellow Americans and others interested in the US at our very first social of the 2026-27 academic year, just in time for the Friday of International Student Welcome Week and Mid-Autumn Festival! Settle in with some new friends on-campus as you meet our committee, learn about our society's plans (spoiler: you'll want to keep coming) and adjusting to life in London, and, well, socialize (like by playing some mind-bending table games). A few hours later (and/or when we get bored of all that, since who knows?), you have the option of coming with us to a local branch of the global Taiwanese restaurant chain Din Tai Fung to get to know your friends even more (while enjoying some absolutely exquisite Taiwanese food). What a fitting set of festivities for a day dedicated to gratitude, planning for the future, and enjoying harmony with friends and family (including our found family)! We welcome students from all levels of study (including study-abroad students from universities outside the UK) to come join us in this unique start for our wonderful year ahead.
