(Imagine fun music is playing in the background as you read this) Love stand-up comedy? Have nothing better to do on a Wednesday early evening? Well you are in luck my friend! We are UCL Comedy Club and we welcome you to join our taster session that ticks both of these boxes with enthusiasm rivalled by none. Look at this man. Look into his eyes (I know they are closed but imagine they are open). This stock photo man is a visual depiction of you after you come along to this event. You do not need to already be funny to come along to the event or the society in general . We welcome people from all backgrounds and comedic abilities, just show up and have a good time. We will go through the basics of how to write a one-liner, have some social time to meet the committee/ask questions and then a short activity at the end discussing comedic analysis (for aspiring performers). I may even bring my really not very good Bose speaker to play background music whilst we eat but no promises with that. Tickets are free and mainly for us (the committee) to know how big of a room we need. Bring your friends. What is your favourite block in Minecraft? Glowstone. Is any prior experience needed? No, we accommodate for all abilities :) Do I have to bring material or perform in some capacity? If you have material you would like to share then that would be fantastic but it's not a requirement or expectation.
