About this Event

Finance Bootcamp Want to learn more about finance but don’t know where to start? Join UCL Asset Management Society’s flagship Finance Bootcamp , designed to help you build your finance knowledge and confidence from the ground up. Whether you are completely new to finance or looking to strengthen your foundations, the Bootcamp is beginner-friendly and open to students from all degree backgrounds . 📅 Every Wednesday, 5–6PM, starting 14 October 2026 ✨ Beginner-friendly • Practical • No prior experience needed Beyond learning the fundamentals, the Bootcamp offers the opportunity to develop practical skills through pitching and presenting to real professional firms . We have previously partnered with firms that have recruited from UCLAM, giving members the chance to gain exposure to industry professionals and experience what it is like to present your ideas in a professional setting. Following our first Bootcamp session, we will be hosting a social with UCLAM alumni , giving you the opportunity to meet graduates from the society, hear about their experiences, and build connections with those now working across the finance industry. All you need is a standard UCLAM membership, no additional sign-up is required. Just bring your laptop and come along! Whether you are exploring finance for the first time, looking to build practical skills, or hoping to connect with professionals and alumni, the Finance Bootcamp is a great place to start.
