Join the UCL Government & Politics Society for an evening with Lord Kerr of Kinlochard , one of Britain’s most distinguished diplomats and former Permanent Under-Secretary at the Foreign and Commonwealth Office. Lord Kerr will be joining us for an evening of discussion on Britain’s role in the world, diplomacy and the changing international landscape, drawing on his extensive experience at the heart of British foreign policy. The event will provide an opportunity to hear directly from one of Britain’s leading diplomatic figures, followed by a Q&A where attendees will have the chance to put their own questions to Lord Kerr. Whether you are interested in British politics, international affairs, diplomacy, history, or simply want to hear from someone with decades of experience at the highest levels of government, this promises to be an engaging and insightful evening. 📅 16 October 2026 🕡 6:30 PM We look forward to welcoming you for what promises to be a fascinating evening.
