About this Event

Join us for our introductory talk into the world of alternative proteins! William Gordon-Petrovskii is a Research Fellow in the UCL Department of Biochemical Engineering and the Co-director of Cellular Agriculture UK. For the past five years, his research has focused on making cultivated meat viable by developing cost-effective, animal-free growth media. Beyond the lab, William is deeply passionate about accelerating and supporting the UK's alternative proteins ecosystem as a whole. In his talk, he will provide an introduction to the world of alternative proteins before diving into the science of cultivated meat and his latest research findings. Free alternative protein snacks will be available for everyone. If you have bought our membership, you can also pickup your complementary totebag at this event!
