Join us to get an introduction to the basics of Qiskit & how to get started with quantum computing. 📍 UCL Bentham House LG11 ⚛️ About the Speaker: Kate Marshall is a research scientist, software engineer and the Global Technical Lead for IBM Quantum. She studied an MSi Physics with Policy Communincation and Ethics of Science at UCL. While at university, Kate completed two internships at TU Berlin and Universität Zürich in particle physics experiments (dark matter and neutrino detection experiments). She led the architecture community efforts for IBM Quantum software, implemened various new pieces of functionality in Qiskit Runtime and IBM Cloud, and supported the performance chapter in their work for demonstrating best-in-class circuit layers operation per second metrics.
